- Sedation

Nursing actions
- Maintain seizure precautions and pad side rails per policy.
- Monitor respiratory status after benzodiazepines.
- Teach not to stop chronic antiepileptics abruptly.

Antidote / reversal
- flumazenil reverses benzodiazepines but may trigger seizures
